A little late, yes, but I’m sure you have heard the news. RE: Chain of Memories is indeed coming to the U.S.! It is Scheduled to be released on Dec. 2nd for the retail price of $29.99. The game will include most of the voice-acting crew as the previous games had.

Alright, here’s the run-down: I hope that you won’t be upset (especially you final fantasy fans) but the site will be making some major operation changes Due to the amount of time the staff and I have to work on the site, we will no longer be posting regular final fantasy news; only major news breaks such as trailers, release dates, and important development news. We also will no longer be posting interviews. All these restrictions are only temporary untill we get some more people and staff to help with the site. But don’t get out of your chair and chuck your keyboard at the wall yet; we willl still go in-depth on every detail of FF news as welll as the latest developer interviews on the podcast so listen in!

Alright, I admit it. I was a little lazy the week of all the Private Parties hype so here’s a run-down of what we learned:
1. Final Fantasy XIII Demo to be on the Advent Children Complete Blu-ray DVD. (The demo is expected to be longer than the movie itself!)
2. Final Fantasy Agito XIII will now be released on the PSP (Playstation Portable) system.
3. Versus XIII is a PS3 exclusive the will have a simultanious world-wide release in late 2009-2010.
4. Final Fantasy XIII is expected also in late 2009.
5. Birth By Sleep’s new enemies are called Unbirth’s
6. Mysterious 14th Member’s name is either Sciron or Xion and she carries a keyblade.

The long awaited story of Roxas will soon be on its way. But for the mean time square-enix.com launched its official informational site concerning the game. For now, unfortunately the site is only displayed in Japanese but we’ll keep you updated when the english version is launched.

It is my pleasure to announce that moments ago president of square-enix stopped by the Microsoft press-conference to talk about the up-coming 3 games going to the 360. But he also suprisingly announced that Final Fantasy XIII will be going to the 360 as well as the Playstation 3! Yet no word has been said whether Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be making the same change.

With E3 literally on top of us now there is very little we can expect as far as what we have seen so far. Along with the fact that there will be no Kingdom Hearts games featured at the event; there will only be one Final Fantasy game to be featured that is Final Fantasy IV for the DS.
Keep in mind that the Square-Enix Press Conference is TODAY! Hopefully we’ll at least get some news on some of the works in progress not at the event such as Birth By Sleep and Final Fantasy XIII. The conference is scheduled for today at 1PM. Look forward to our next episode where we’ll discuss some of the things that are going on at E3.
